Do you have an appraisal review checklist that includes the new Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) requirements? I believe the USPAP consists of twelve items that would need to be part of an appraisal review checklist.

We do not have an appraisal review checklist in our forms library that includes the 2020–21 USPAP standards; however, we have made a request to our Compliance Division Advisory Committee for an updated appraisal review checklist and will send you any submissions we receive.

Additionally, although the 2020–21 USPAP standards are not available without purchase, the Appraisal Standards Board has published general and detailed summaries of the changes to its 2020–21 standards, which are included in the resources linked to below. The detailed summary reflects that USPAP Standards Rule 2-2 (Content of a Real Property Appraisal Report) now includes fourteen elements that must be included in an “Appraisal Report” and sixteen elements that must be included in a “Restricted Appraisal Report.” The detailed summary also includes a comparison chart of the required elements for Appraisal Reports and Restricted Appraisal Reports.
